When the Over60Exchange, LLC. was created in early 2008, the goal was simple...help Seniors find employment and help Employers find qualified Seniors with skills, talents and abilities that they needed. During early Over60Exchange web development, we began to realize that our role in the world was going to be much bigger and that this would require a much greater effort and investment.
Shortly after launching the Beta (test) website on Independence Day July 4, 2008, we knew that we had a "big tiger" by the tail. In the months since that day, we dramatically added to our information and services content while exploring a wide variety of other ideas based on market research and expert advice.
On July 3, 2009, we launched our Beta tested website after 1-year of research. During this time we could never have anticipated the economic changes now driving the government, businesses and individuals. Now, the need for the Over60Exchange is like none other we have ever seen and it is all a function of timing and events that we have no control over.
Today, we are on the threshold of creating a web presence using advanced programming tactics and strategies that will make Over60Exchange the largest and most successful website focused on people over age fifty (Boomers, Seniors and those interested in being better prepared for life). This market of approximately 106 million people is what the Over60Exchange is all about. Further, we have expanded our reach internationally to other countries where the potential of reaching another 100 million people exists.
Starting late 2009, we again will be working on advancing the Over60Exchange with state-of-the-art technology and development advances. It is anticipated that this new website will be ready for launch in the third quarter 2010.
